The Lac Kir water sports centre is a sports and leisure facility located on the banks of Lac Kir, to the west of Dijon. Set in a natural environment of almost 37 hectares of water and surrounded by vast green spaces, it is one of the main places for relaxation, sports and leisure activities in the Dijon metropolitan area.
The water sports centre is located at Quai des Carrières Blanches in Dijon, just a few minutes from the city centre. Its location makes it easy to get to by car, by bike thanks to the cycle paths, or by public transport.
Completely renovated and modernised, it offers a pleasant setting where nature, relaxation and sport come together.
The base is home to a wide range of water sports, including canoeing, rowing, paddling and sailing. It is also used by sports clubs, schools and the general public for a variety of outdoor activities.
Its new building has been designed with the environment in mind, using sustainable materials and equipment to reduce energy consumption. Thanks to its modern facilities and privileged location, the Kir Lake water sports centre contributes to Dijon's sporting, tourist and environmental dynamism.
The water sports centre is open from March to mid-November. During the summer, equipment hire is available at Dijon Plage, from 21 June to 31 August.
