Thomas Fersen - Concert Musiques Actuelles

Thomas Fersen presents "Comme on quitte un imperméable", his new show based on his latest novel, to be published by Seuil in May 2026, and peppered with previously unreleased songs and favourites from his repertoire.

Performed by Thomas Fersen accompanied by three musicians, the show tells the story in octosyllables of how, after a discouraging start in music and the loss of his part-time job as a cable installer, the hero is sent to Mexico by his father. Tender and funny, Thomas Fersen lends memories of his youth to his globe-trotting apprentice. With fantasy, he evokes the exoticism and luxuriance, the devotion and religiosity of the lands he surveys, offering us an allegorical vision of his adventures. A voyage of initiation, an epic as piquant as it is fantastic, the dangers to which the hero exposes himself are so many rites of passage to adulthood.

Thomas Fersen's inimitable style is a blend of theatre, storytelling and concert. A true poet of French song with a mischievous spirit, he invites you on a journey of initiation that's as funny as it is poetic.
