During a visit to the Saugeais Republic, we offer groups a "surprise" event with the customs officers.
They stop the group and ask for the famous "laissez-passer", which is essential for free movement within the territory!
With the collaboration of the group leader, participants will not be informed in advance of this event, so that it retains all its charm and folklore. A personalised pass, written by the Chairman, will be given to each participant, along with a booklet on the history of the Saugeais.
After recounting the saugettes anecdotes and singing the Saugeais national anthem, the customs officers will let the group set off for neighbouring France... !!!!
