À propos
On the southern façade of the Hôtel de Ville, a fine engraved dial, graduated in 1/4 of an hour, dates from 1560. On the bell tower of the basilica, a high marble meridian is dated 1836. In the park of the ‘house for all’ rue Victor Hugo, you will discover an analemmatic dial of 12 m in diameter on the ground.
This circuit will take you to the discovery of the numerous sundials of the Haute-Saône on the walls of the churches, the facades of the houses, on old manors or even on the ground. You will discover, among other things, the face of the façade of the Renaissance Town Hall of Gray, the church of Mantoche, at Oyrières or Pesmes ... The leaflet of the circuit is available on request at the Tourism Office.
