Maison des Mots - B&B

La Maison des Mots is a manor house located in the historic centre of La Charité-sur-Loire, which has been carefully refurbished to combine charm and modernity. Its central location puts you just a minute's walk from the main street and a short stroll from the town walls, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed abbey and the banks of the Loire. Free parking is available in the neighbouring streets, just a few metres from the house. There is also a direct train from Paris to La Charité in just 2 hours, several times a day - perfect if you want to leave the car behind. The house is a 10-minute walk from the station, but a transport service can be arranged on request.

On the first floor, two guest rooms sleep 2-3 people. Breakfast is included, as is a carefully prepared aperitif dinner for your arrival. Guests have access to the cosy ground floor lounge and culinary library, where Mrs McIntosh shares her extensive collection of cookery books. Cooking classes with Mrs McIntosh are also available on request.
Outside, you can relax in the house's flower garden, or enjoy the coolness of the private courtyard, a charming place to enjoy an evening drink.
