Ateliers "autour de la laine"

A breeder of Angora goats in the commune of St Vérain, Vrinette welcomes you, by reservation, to her workshop in the heart of her goat farm, for a choice of 3 wool workshops:

1-Initiation into spinning on a spinning wheel: 3 hours
You'll learn all about the transformation of the fibre, mohair, from sorting to carding and finally spinning. You'll leave with your own yarn. This workshop can be followed by the 1h to 2h workshop to perfect your spinning skills and create your own object,

2-Initiation to knitting: 2h
Learn to knit in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.
Programme: Basics of knitting, essential stitches, making a small project
Bring your own material, which you can buy on site (100% mohair or mohair and silk) and knitting needles.

3-Initiation to needle felting: 2h
Create pretty decorative objects in felted wool, entirely by hand.
Learn the basics, create an object and follow the process step by step.

4-Children's workshop: visit to the goat farm, woollen creations, home-made and local delicacies.
