%C0 In Dinan and its surrounding area, Arsonora presents four medieval music concerts that invite listeners on a musical journey into the heart of the region’s heritage and history. Organized by the Fête des Remparts de Dinan association, the event combines high artistic standards—featuring internationally renowned artists—with outreach and educational activities for festivalgoers.
Dinan, a medieval town of exceptional charm, invites you to step back in time as you wander through its cobblestone streets, past its half-timbered houses, and along its imposing ramparts. But Dinan’s medieval history is also told through the lens of the 19th century, when travelers, artists, and scholars rediscovered this past and helped shape the town’s medieval imageimage of the city. During this guided tour led by a docent, discover how Dinan has preserved and showcased its heritage, right up tothe spirit of its famous Fête des Remparts. A lively stroll to understand how medieval history continues to fuel the city’s imagination and identity.
Tour in conjunction with the “Echos Médiévaux” concert - The Middle Ages as Imagined by Ravel and Debussy %BB at 8:30 p.m. at the Théâtre des Jacobins, as part of the Arsonora Festival.
