Nestling in the wild, unspoilt setting of the Emerald Coast, Anse du Croc beach, near Pléhérel-Plage in the commune of Fréhel, offers a serene getaway for nature and seascape lovers. This crescent-shaped beach, some 800 metres long, invites you to immerse yourself in a unique natural environment. Bordered by a vast area of dunes, it offers a spectacular panorama of Cap Fréhel, renowned for its rugged beauty and imposing cliffs.

How to get there
Anse du Croc beach is located near the hamlet of Pléhérel-Plage, accessible by car via the D34 from Fréhel. Free parking is available on site. For those who prefer public transport, bus access is available only in July and August via route 202 (Saint-Brieuc > Erquy > Saint-Cast), stopping at the Chapelle du Vieux Bourg or the Pont de l'Etang campsite.

Hiking enthusiasts can also reach the beach via the famous GR34 trail that runs along the coast. Several routes are accessible from Pléhérel-Plage:

- Pléhérel-Plage > Cap Fréhel: 6.5 km ? approx. 1h45 walk
- Pléhérel-Plage > Sables d'Or: 5 km ? approx. 1 hr

Practical information :
The Anse du Croc beach is supervised in summer by a lifeguard station, and a Tiralo chair for adults is available for people with reduced mobility; for more information, call the lifeguard station on 02 96 41 54 24 . Toilets
Pets are not allowed on the beach between May 1 and September 30, from 9am to 9pm.

For longer stays, the nearby municipal campsite offers 900 pitches and is open from April to October. It has direct access to the beach, perfect for those who want to take full advantage of the surrounding nature.
In season, a straw hut on the sand offers refreshments and snacks, perfect for a gourmet break with your feet in the sand.
