Over coffee or a croissant, two short talks will offer different scientific perspectives on the question, “Should we preserve or develop the coastline in the face ofclimate risks?” The first presentation will be given by Pierre Stephan (geomorphologist and research fellow at the CNRS, University of Brest). A second presentation will feature Rémy Beau, Agnès Foiret-Collet, and Jacques Tassin (respectively, a philosopher, a research associate at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, -researcher and visual artist, professor at the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, member of the ACTE Institute—and ecologist, CIRAD researcher, and writer.) "Managing or Shaping the Coastline: Perspectives from a Trio. "
A discussion session between the speakers and participants is scheduled at the end of each presentation.
