Evoking the first enthusiasms of a child?s imagination, this show is a jubilant imaginary world filled with gentleness and wonder.
The children?s album Papa by Nicolas Mathieu (winner of the Prix Goncourt for Leurs enfants après eux) inspired this deliberately naïve show. Toy box, storage box, secret box, story box... From childhood to adulthood, the chest is a magical object that both hides and preserves everything. On stage, a child and an adult are taken on an epic journey from chest to chest. For the child, it's a journey to build himself by opening wide the doors of his imagination. For the man, it's a journey to accompany and let go.
