The actress summons her theatrical double, Euphrates - named after the river that flows through Turkey, Syria and Iraq - to tell us about her journey.
In this case, that of a young woman from Normandy on her mother's side, Turkish on her father's, who is groping her way through life while waiting for her deepest desire to reveal itself: the theater. In this one-woman show, the artist acts, sings and dances in equal measure, deploying a wide variety of people and situations in a sober setting. A journey of initiation to her father?s Asia Minor, the "benevolent racism" of a guidance counselor? Between poetry and humor, this tale of learning becomes a quest for self, delicately addressing questions of transmission and inheritance.
