Established in the Brest commercial port since 2007, La Carène is the current music hall of the urban community of Brest
Its two concert halls (the 350-seat Club and the 1300-seat Grande Salle), its 6 rehearsal studios and its info-resource centre make it unique in Brittany.
A true complex dedicated to contemporary music, La Carène programmes between 70 and 90 concerts a year, from the local scene to major national and international tours, in all styles of contemporary music. From emerging groups to confirmed talents, more and more artists are making the detour to the tip of Brittany, attracted by the reputation of the Brest public and by the quality of the welcome and the optimal conditions of the hall.
