La pointe du Nick

📍 Saint-Lunaire, Ille-et-Vilaine · Office du Tourisme, 35800 Saint-Lunaire
À propos
Founded in the 6th century by Saint Lunaire, this agricultural and seaside village became a fashionable seaside resort at the end of the last century, immortalized by the painter Henri Rivière. Opposite Saint Lunaire, between the Grande Plage and the Plage de la Fourberie, the Conservatoire de l'Espace Littoral et des Rivages Lacustres has acquired the Pointe du Nick, protecting it from uncontrolled urbanization. The vegetation on the wind-exposed cliffs consists only of short brush and ferns. Joint management with the Conservatoire has enabled the Département to offer some ten hectares of beautiful walks in this area, a veritable window onto the sea. Also worth a visit is the Pointe du Décollé.
