Mad in Finland, cirque sous chapiteau

Combining circus feats, off-the-wall humor, and folk music, *Mad in Finland* is a whimsical and heartwarming satire of Finnish culture.
With a brilliant sense of caricature, eight circus sisters—all of whom left Finland for the love of the circus—are brimming with energy and humorto present their country to us as they see it—or dream it: the polar night, championships of all kinds, ski jumping, forests teeming with lumberjacks, and the Finnish passion for the sauna…

Powerful women with strong tempers, they’ll chip away at our preconceptions about femininity and gender with high-energy axe swings. Trapezes, ropes, fabric, rola bola, hand-to-hand acrobatics, and live music make up this joyful and generous story presented in the original language.
