Dunes sauvages de Gâvres à Quiberon

📍 Erdeven, Morbihan · 56410 Erdeven
À propos
Nature, the wind and the Atlantic Ocean have drawn an immense arc of sand from the peninsula of Gâvres to that of Quiberon. From west to east, thirty-five kilometres of oceanic and wild dunes mix and unravel in a gentle, undulating relief, in a curve held by two rocky points. The largest dune massif in Brittany is only interrupted by the ria d'Étel and is extended by the famous cliffs of the Côte Sauvage on the Quiberon peninsula. This immense and rare landscape is that of the Grand Site Dunes Sauvages de Gâvres in Quiberon. With nearly 700 plant species, more than a third of the Armorican flora, and dozens of rare and protected animal species, the ecological richness embodies the exceptional character of the Wild Dunes.Chemins, greenways and bicycle paths allow you to leave, without a car and at your own pace, to meet this rare nature.
