A lonely child, Dian dreams of a life surrounded by wild animals.
As an adult, during a trip to Africa, she falls in love with mountain gorillas and is hired to study them. She soon realized that these peaceful giants were in danger, and embarked on a merciless battle to protect them. A pioneer and activist in their preservation, she makes many enemies.
Inspired by the life of renowned primatologist Dian Fossey ("Gorillas in the Mist"), Tant pis pour King Kong! explores our relationship with (other) animals and living beings, and questions the limits of our commitment to the planet.
A fine play produced by Maniaka Théâtre, for all ages 8 and up.
Reservations required. 2 performances: Tuesday May 5 (8pm) and Wednesday May 6 (10am).
