Within the Perche Regional Nature Park, the sensitive natural area of La Ferté-Vidame in an area of 77 hectares, hosts diverse wetlands particularly woodlands in wet areas with sphagnum mosses, unique in Eure et Loir and very rare in the Loire Valley region.
