Ballet Bar brings together five hip-hop virtuosos who, in a setting reminiscent of New York jazz clubs, explore their relationship with music through dance.
Arguing over which record to play—ranging from jazz to classical to electro—the dancers will get the bar counter moving, make the coat racks waltz, and take us on a journey through the crackling sound of an old transistor radio.
Dance, acrobatics, and mime blend together with humor and irreverence. By drawing inspiration from other artistic disciplines, these performers offer a truly convivial experience that is at once funny, generous, and full of energy.
