À propos
The story goes that it was St. Odile herself who caused the water to gush forth by striking the rock. The water enabled a blind man in distress to regain his sight. Today, it is still renowned for its healing powers, and many pilgrims come here to drink and meditate.
Situated below the monastery, the spring is easily accessible. A lovely woodland path (400 m, 100 m ascent) takes ten minutes to reach. If you prefer, you can also get there by car (D33).
