Founded in 1976, AGIRA now employs nearly 70 qualified guides, putting their know-how and professionalism at your disposal.
All AGIRA members hold a professional card issued by the Ministries of Tourism and Culture, authorizing them to give guided tours of museums and historic monuments.
Since November 9, 2011, a single title and card, that of guide conférencier, has replaced the 4 existing cards (Conférencier National, Guide Interprète National, Guide Interprète Régional, Guide
Conférencier des Villes et Pays d'Art et d'Histoire).
AGIRA is an association of accredited and qualified guides whose in-depth knowledge is
constantly updated and enriched by ongoing training. The association's members work in French, English, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, Russian, Chinese and Polish.
