À propos
Climbing up to the cathedral platform is a breathtaking experience. Enjoy breathtaking views and immerse yourself in history.
Since its construction, the cathedral platform has been a major tourist attraction and, until recently, a strategic fire-fighting point.
A splendid spiral staircase takes you into the heart of the building, offering unparalleled views of the city. The panorama from the top of the platform is extraordinary. You can see the roofs of Strasbourg, and on a clear day, the view extends as far as the Vosges mountains and the Black Forest (in Germany). And don't forget to admire the architectural details of the 142-metre-high tower and its spire.
You can also discover the rich history of the janitor's house, located where the second spire was planned.
A 360° journey through time:
Travel back in time to Strasbourg using augmented reality. Thanks to scientifically rigorous 3D reconstructions, compare contemporary Strasbourg with the medieval city of the 15th and 18th centuries.

Immersive audio narration to accompany your visit:
To immerse yourself in the story of the cathedral's construction, from its foundations to the completion of the spire, don't hesitate to access the immersive audio narrative that will accompany you on your ascent.

Climb 66 m (330 steps), good physical condition required.
Entrance at Place du Château.
Every ticket purchased to climb the platform helps finance the monument's conservation-restoration work.
