Eglise Saint-Barthélemy

Until the 19th century, the church was located in the center of the cemetery, not far from the castle. Mentioned for the first time in 1366, only the choir remains with bays rediscovered in 1998. In 1819, a fire reduced the high altar and the frame to ashes, then in 1823, the mayor asked for the extension of the building, judged to be too small to accommodate all the faithful. The new church began in 1871, date inscribed on the tympanum, dedicated to Saint Bartholomew and helped during its construction by the emperor of Germany Guillaume I, as well as Guillaume II. The building and the furniture are in a neo-Gothic style, very fashionable at the time.
