À propos
A Franciscan convent once stood on the site of today?s hospital (the Franciscans arrived in 1297 thanks to the generosity of Count Thibaut de Ferrette).
Built in 1302-1303, it lasted until the French Revolution, when it was sold to industrialists and became, in the early 19th century, an indienne factory (these are fabrics painted or printed in France, in shades of red because of the plant used to dye them: madder).
