Located between Coiffy-le-Haut and Bourbonne-les-Bains, Col de la Bannie owes its name to the animal park you'll find a little further on towards Bourbonne. Located in the middle of the forest, the picnic area is the perfect place to stop. This is the ideal crossing point between the Apance to the north and the Amance to the south-west. The pass is flanked to the north-west by the Grand Bois at 437 m and the Bois des Brosses at 424 m.
It is the 1st pass listed by the Comité Départemental de Cyclotourisme de Haute-Marne.
