Musée de Bourbonne-les-Bains

Created in 1874, the Bourbonne-les-Bains municipal museum was transferred to the outbuildings of the former medieval château in 1910. Originally composed of discoveries made during archaeological digs in the town, the collection was supplemented by private donations and purchases.
The history of the town is told through the objects and works preserved. One room presents archaeological remains, in particular those of the ancient spa town.
The fine arts room introduces the artistic history of Bourbonne-les-Bains, where many artists of national interest appear; ethnographic and natural "curiosities" complete the tour. A final room is devoted to temporary exhibitions.
Exceptionally open on certain Sundays.
