À propos
By the Idem Collectif theater company (Côte-d’Or)
Ages 12 and up ? Running time: 1 hour 10 minutes ? Reservations required
This closing performance by Aline Reviriaud is a physical interpretation of the philosophy of Gilles Deleuze. Two acrobats—including Leonardo Ferreira, whom you may have seen in 2025 in *Violentia*— and an actor bring to life a few passages drawn from the eight hours of filmed interviews that make up *L’Abécédaire*, excerpts of which we are delighted to hear.
The Acrobatic Abécédaire invites us to a philosophy in motion, through an immediate and physical experience of the body. Feeling then becomes what makes us think. Each letter (D for desire, R for resistance...) is a number, straddling abstraction, flights of fancy, and concrete examples. It juggles, it misses, it corrects itself, it rejoices, it falls, it zigzags, it resists... The Acrobatic Alphabet is a joyful act of creation, a stroll through thought that is invented together with the audience. The bodies offer this powerful infinity of performance(s), where we experience together the sensations, the immediacy of the gesture, the joy of thinking at the same time—%AB here and now %BB!
And this understanding brings joy, for philosophy becomes a friend.
