Theater and Dance - Cie Monsieur K
For all ages 7 and up - 45 min
Have you ever daydreamed?
Yet it’s often during these moments of inactivity that a good idea can take root.
The Monsieur K Company explores all the possibilities of this fertile “nothingness”… Boredom really is the mother of invention! But does boredom really exist?
Isn’t it rather the arrival of a time that is finally available, open, and our own—a time that happily pulls us out of the frenzy of modern life? Is it not in this moment of stillness that the helpless child discovers he is full of resources?
Romuald Leclerc and Laura Boudou, in their theater steeped in poetry tinged with humor, explore this freedom of childhood.
A gently subversive show, directed by the unclassifiable Patrice Thibaud, a maestro in the subtle and delicate art of comedy. Doing nothing, but doing it as well as possible, with all the senses alert… and idleness becomes grandiose and burlesque!
