À propos
Metz?s economic development reached its peak in the 12th and 14th centuries, giving rise to an aristocracy that endowed itself with sumptuous residences, such as the Hôtel de Heu. Built in Gothic style in the mid-15th century by a family of patricians from the Meuse region, this residence was bought in 1661 by Anne of Austria, who established a Seminary of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul Mission.
