The waterfront, located right in the heart of the city, is open to boating, to a wide range of sporting activities such as canoeing, rowing, skateboarding, etc. and offers moments of relaxation and vacations: dancing fountains, Metz-Plage, hot-air balloon departures, terraces at the ?Flottille? at the Quai des Régates or at the Guinguette de l?Esplanade?
You'll also appreciate the river tour departures. From April to October, the electro-solar boats offer you the chance to discover the Moselle and the flora and fauna around Metz.
Walkers can reach the botanical gardens via the towpath of the Canal de Jouy, or follow the banks of the Moselle to discover the marina, which has been awarded the European Blue Flag, and unique views of Saint-Etienne's Cathedral and the Temple Neuf.
