Spectacle - Pas vu, pas pris

Following the spectacular theft of jewelry from the Louvre, Thierry Collet, a magician and artist affiliated with Scènes Vosges, explores the mechanics of illusion. Combining modern magic, sleight of hand, and stories of burglaries, *Pas vu, pas pris* reveals everything that escapes our notice.
Why don’t we see what’s happening right before our eyes? From the famous painting *L’Escamoteur* to the cup-and-ball trick, Thierry Collet unveils the mechanisms behind diverting our attention and manipulating our perceptions. Magic tricks, scientific experiments, and storytelling come together in a theatrical production that sharpens our critical thinking while preserving the joy of wonder.
To extend the experience, Scènes Vosges is offering a free public dress rehearsal, a cocktail reception dedicated toto the art of illusionism through the ages, and a magic and sleight-of-hand workshop focusing on the three-cup trick and cups. Contact the Scènes Vosges team for more information and to register for these events.
