📍 Vittel, Vosges · Parc thermal, 88800 Vittel
À propos
A group of three buildings is representative of the spa's hotel industry in the early 20th century:
- the Hôtel Vittel-Palace, next to the Grand Hôtel, near the Galerie Thermale, built by architect Fernand Nachon in 1900 and enlarged by architect Fernand César from 1932 to 1934 (glass dome with geometric motifs by Nancy master glassmaker André Lemoine);
- the Grand-Hôtel, overlooking the Galerie Thermale, built between 1912 and 1920 by architect Georges Walwein;
- the Hôtel Ermitage, at the start of the legendary Mont Saint Jean golf course, in the Parc de Vitte, built in 1929 by Fernand César in Anglo-Norman style.
