Discover, learn and understand radioactive waste management. The Andra site (Agence nationale pour la gestion des déchets radioactifs), France?s 1st radioactive waste disposal center and the 1st in the world to have entered the closure phase, offers tours for the general public, families and professionals alike.

The visit to this site, which no longer receives radioactive waste packages but is actively monitored, takes place in two stages. First, a presentation of Andra and the Manche disposal center, radioactive waste and its management, followed by a tour of the facilities. The latter covers environmental monitoring (water, air and vegetation), as well as showing how the memory of the site is passed on to future generations.

Duration: 2 hours - recommended for ages 6 and up.

Due to the vigipirate plan, visitors are not allowed to bring personal belongings with them. We recommend that you leave them in your vehicle.
