Les jardins du couvent is a "Atelier et Chantier d'Insertion" (workshop and work camp), a structure for integration through economic activity, certified by the Comité Départemental de l'Insertion par l'Activité Economique (departmental committee for integration through economic activity) in April 2010.
Seasonal vegetables are sold in weekly baskets to residents of La Souterraine and the surrounding area.
The principle of the garden is a mutual commitment to 40 vegetable baskets over one year.
The garden undertakes to deliver a basket of fresh vegetables once a week.
The membership fee is 10 ? for one calendar year. Basket prices are 8? or 15?
