Stage de Waacking : "En mouvements"

Throughout 2026, compagnie need invites you to explore movement in all its forms in Parthenay.
On the program: immersive 5-hour workshops, designed as real dives into each artistic universe.
And on September 27, 2026, we're offering a Waacking workshop led by Alibee, a dancer and choreographer from Nantes.
Discovered in 2016, this style was born in the LGBTQ+ Afro-Latino clubs of Los Angeles in the 70s and combines disco energy, groove, poses and arm technique. Through her work, she transmits a dance that is festive, expressive and deeply rooted in its social history.
Whether you're an experienced dancer, a curious amateur or simply in search of new sensations, these workshops are designed as spaces for sharing, transmission and body research.
