In the middle of the woods, the buildings of La Solitude remind us of the role of the priest Pierre Bienvenu Noailles, founder of the congregation of the Holy Family, in Bordeaux in the years 1830-50. The façade is of great architectural rigour with its straight lines. The west façade expresses harmony through a play of lines on the roofs.
