Les Roses Papotent

In partnership with the CIAS des Grands Lacs, the association Les Roses d'Octobre in Biscarrosse organizes a coffee meetup called "Les Roses Papotent" every first Thursday of the month for women affected by breast cancer.

Led by a patient partner in oncology at the Arcachon Hospital Center, these discussion sessions aim to:
- Encourage women with breast cancer (whether undergoing diagnosis, treatment, or in remission) to speak openly;
- Empower them to take action on their own;
- Enable each woman to take an active role in her own healthcare journey;
- Foster social connections and break down isolation.

The goal of these coffee meetups is also to address the geographical distance from healthcare facilities—which are often located in Bordeaux—by offering residents of the Grands Lacs region a space for listening and sharing, close to where they live.
