Since 1977, the underwater archaeological research carried out at Sanguinet lake has led to the discovery of several residential sites from the Bronze Age to the Gallo-Roman period, complete with ruins (dugout canoes, ceramic and metal furnishings). The Musée Municipal du Lac de Sanguinet invites you to discover the rich, local heritage that was long buried in this unique place.
