À propos
%C0 Just a stone's throw from the shimmering waters of the %E9tang, nestled in a peaceful alleyway in the old village of Peyriac-de-Mer, Le Petit Clos invites you to a gentle retreat where the sea air blends with the spirit of the countryside. Here, time slows down, the shutters creak gently in the breeze, and every stone tells a story.
Peyriac-de-Mer, an Occitan gem, showcases its medieval alleys and cobblestone streets bathed in light. In the central square, in the shade of the plane trees, life flows peacefully in front of the church and its fountain. Nature lovers will be delighted: set out on foot along the famous boardwalk winding above the pond, visit the old saltworks, or let yourself be captivated by the Doul, a lagoon that feels like a small inland sea.
%C0 There’s no shortage of day trips nearby: Narbonne is 15 minutes away, Carcassonne, the castles of the Cathar Country, and even Perpignan are all less than an hour away.
In the village, everything is within easy reach: small shops, wine tasting cellars, restaurants, and essential services.
Le Petit Clos offers the following on the ground floor:
_A living room with a seating area and a fully equipped kitchen (2-burner glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, washer/dryer),
%C0 Upstairs:
_A bedroom with a 140-cm bed,
_A bedroom with 90-cm bunk beds, perfect for children,
_A bathroom with a walk-in shower and toilet.
Outside, in front of the cottage:
_A courtyard with direct access to a quaint little square, away from the hustle and bustle, featuring a terrace with patio furniture and an electric griddle,
Parking in the village is regulated: Nestled in a narrow, accessible alleyway, you can park in front of the cottage to unload your luggage, but parking is not permittedin the alley or in the spaces reserved for village residents and those living along the lake. Three visitor parking lots—two of which are free—are located 250 meters from the cottage (Route de Bages), and “blue zone” parking spaces with a time limit between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. (parking disc required) are also available in the village.
