The hamlet of Castelbouc is a must-see in the Tarn gorges. Well visible from the road coming from Sainte-Enimie, it is recognizable among miles by its ruined castle perched on an impressive cliff of the Méjean causse, below which is built a semi-troglodytic village attached to the rock of the cliff. The castle was destroyed during the Wars of Religion.
