Who's never heard of the Gorges du Tarn? Over nearly 50 kilometres, they cut into the limestone rock of the Causse Méjean and the Causse Sauveterre, thus erecting vertiginous cliffs of ochre, reddish or black colour. In some places, the cliffs form a canyon 400 and 500 metres deep.
