At low tide, you can reach Ile du Perron via a tombolo. Be sure to check the tide times before you go.
The beach is not supervised.
Parking and access to the beach :
- Access by car: the nearest parking lot is on Rue des Essarts. It is free of charge. To reach the beach, follow the Chemin du Perron and then the GR34 for 550 meters.
- Public transport: BreizhGo - Line 516, Le Golf or La Houle stop. Allow 1.5 km to reach the beach.
Access is via the GR34 only, then stairs down to the beach.
Pets :
Pets are allowed on the Perron beach from September 16 to June 14.
Exposure and swimming conditions :
Plage du Perron is a small, sandy beach facing west. Bathing water quality is rated "Excellent" by the French Ministry of Health (2025).
Swimming is possible at both high and low tide.
