La Maison des Arts: an ephemeral space for creators and artists.
Located in the heart of Carentan-les-Marais, on the corner of rue du Château and rue de l?Arsenal, the Maison des Arts is a place dedicated to creation, experimentation and encounters between artists, craftspeople and the public.
Conceived as an ephemeral gallery-boutique, it offers a unique opportunity for artists, shopkeepers and craftspeople to test their activity, exhibit their work and sell their creations in a privileged setting, with no long-term commitment.
With flexible rental periods ranging from one to four weeks, this concept enables designers to present their work in a space dedicated to arts and crafts. It also enables them to test their market and develop their clientele before setting up shop permanently. The space encourages encounters with the public and exchanges with art and craft enthusiasts. Exhibitors benefit from communication support, notably via the town?s social networks, posters and the press.
