MUSÉE MONTAGNARD DU LAVEDAN

The Musée Montagnard du Lavedan brings together a multitude of tools and objects linked to the lives of craftsmen and farmers. A visit to this museum takes you through several centuries of a primarily pastoral, mountain-oriented society. A testimony to the ancestral balance between man, woman and the Pyrenean landscape. The old forge, one of the last in France, has been preserved in its original state. Guided tour every day at 5pm during the summer vacations (duration approx. 1h30). Open by appointment for groups outside vacation periods all year round.
