The apartment is ideally located in Sète: between the train station and the very center of town, across from the magnificent Place Victor Hugo. During your stay, you can stroll through the neighborhood—which is both quiet and very lively—and stop by the theater and movie theater on Avenue Victor Hugo. You can also take a walk up the famous Mont Saint-Clair and to the Forêt des Pierres Blanches to enjoy a unique view of Sète, the Etang de Thau, the sea, and the surrounding area; stroll along the harbor quays, head to Les Halles to sample local flavors, or enjoy an evening concert at the Théâtre de la Mer, an open-air theater built in a former fort. You can also enjoy the beaches and activities in nearby towns such as Mèze, Balaruc, Bouzigues, and Marseillan.
The cottage consists of:
- A large living area with a seating area featuring a sofa, coffee table, and TV; a dining area with a superb view of Sète; and a sleeping area with a sleeper sofa for two people (140x190 cm) as well as a small office area;
- A separate, very well-equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, washing machine, dryer, coffee maker, electric kettle, and all necessary kitchen utensils;
- A first bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed, nightstands with bedside lamps, and storage shelves;
- A second bedroom equipped in the same way;
- A bathroom with a shower and a sink with a mirror;
- A separate toilet.
You’ll be able to park in nearby public parking lots, such as the Parking du Midi near the train station (paid but inexpensive), a 10-minute walk from the guesthouse, and the Victor Hugo parking lot, a 2-minute walk away, where you can unload your luggage. Buses stop right outside the apartment and serve many destinations, making it ideal for your vacation (beaches, the Thau Lagoon, nearby villages, etc.).
