Featuring an outstanding trio of actors, *Première Ligne* is a vibrant, funny, and deeply moving tribute to those who keep our Republic going.
A hospital doctor, a middle school teacher in a high-needs area, and a police officer with the family protection unit. They are 25 years old, just starting their careers, and are on the front lines of the crises our society is facing, as well as the sensitive issues and dysfunctions of our republican institutions.
Driven by a fierce sense of vocation, they grapple daily with the realities on the ground: a lack of resources, absurd orders, ethical dilemmas, and demoralizing fatigue. Sometimes rebellion stirs, sometimes meaning slips away. But every day, they must hold fast.
In a lighthearted and humorous style, based on documentary interviews, Lisa Guez and Alexandre Tran bring powerful anecdotes to life before our eyes. The theater thus becomes a place of confessions, questioning, and catharsis... Suitable for audiences ages 14 and up.
