For the 22nd edition of the European Museum Night, the Musée du Faouët invites you to an evening where sonneurs (musicians) are in the spotlight!
The program includes a free tour of the exhibition "Les sonneurs vus par les artistes en Bretagne (1800-1950)", which focuses on biniou and bombarde players, emblematic figures in traditional Breton music and a source of inspiration for many artists.
From 8pm to 9pm, the museum is delighted to welcome Yann Le Meur (writer, collector and ringer, former champion of Brittany) for a screening of episode 1 of the film "Kalon Dardoup" (2017) which he directed alongside Goulc'hen Le Meur. The screening will be followed by a discussion on the question "How does one become a ringer?" (number of places limited).
