Jardin des Carmélites

The creation of a public garden in the city centre is a rare and original gesture, which leaves a lasting mark on the urban environment and changes the way it is used. A stone's throw from the heart of the city and yet far from the world, the nuns used to come here to meditate and collect themselves. Today, flowers and grasses have replaced the veils, but serenity and simplicity remain.
