Visite guidée au Musée de la Lunette

The Musée de la Lunette offers tours for groups all year round. For individual visitors, tours are organised every Thursday at 2.30pm during the school holidays (all zones), and every Wednesday and Thursday at 2pm in July and August. This is your chance to discover the great history of the spectacle, as well as the surprising history of Morez and the industrialisation of spectacle manufacture.

Opened in 2003 in a contemporary building, the Musée de la Lunette is unique in France. Located in Morez, the capital of the French eyewear industry, the museum offers two routes: the local history of metal-framed spectacles, which began in 1796 thanks to the skill of a master nail-maker, and the world history of spectacles through the Pierre Marly collection, the "couturier des lunettes". A unique collection to discover, thanks to a fun and educational tour. Temporary exhibitions enhance this fascinating visit.
