Ages 14 and over – free upon registration
Donzy Media Centre – Wednesday 25 November at 6.30 pm
Based on the novel *And the Forest Will Burn Beneath Our Feet* by the Swedish author Jens Lilstrand… which describes a family’s abandonment of their holiday home and their flight into the forest to escape a massive wildfire, we have drawn on insightful and scientific writings about our relationship with landscapes and living things, as well as our now-flawed ‘culture’ of fire, in an attempt to move beyond the state of shock or helplessness into which this summer’s (global) wildfires may have left us all. Nature is sending us signs, calling out to us. Hey there, humans, come back to us, reconnect with the living world, its vitality and its ceaseless adaptability!
