À propos
A voice, a passion, songs that seek a path of tenderness in an increasingly opaque world.
Songwriter, composer, performer, Alissa Wenz sings of social cruelty, inner rebellion, the power of joy, and the need to steal beauty from an unsettling reality.
%AB The miracle of Alissa Wenz lies here: the form irresistibly evokes what our elders called “quality French chanson,” yet everything is contemporary—the perspective, the characters, the unease, the rebellion, the pleasure, the desire. All of this shapes the destiny of an artist who is entirely of today. %BB (France Info)
